
The G20 health ministers meeting has concluded in Polokwane, Limpopo, without signing a declaration. All countries in the G20 agreed with the overall goal of equal access to healthcare services, except the United States of America. Member states as well as other invited nations dissected important issues of advancing healthcare services globally. One of the key takeaway from the summit is for the world to be prepared for the next pandemic. The common theme for the meeting centered around inclusivity, equity and solidarity.
