Civil society movements have called for the cancellation of debt of developing countries. The declaration comes as world leaders are expected to gather in the country next weekend for the G20 Summit. Non governmental organisations – under the banner of Civil 20 – held a three day summit in Benoni, Ekurhuleni to discuss ways in which marginalised groups could be included in decision-making processes and benefit from the gathering of countries.
