
The Association of Private Security Owners of South Africa has called for stringent measures be taken to protect vulnerable workers.
It has also raised serious concerns over what it describes as systemic criminality, corruption, and gross governance failures crippling the Private Security Sector Provident Fund.
The association, which represents the majority of black and marginalised private security companies, states that the crisis within the PSSPF now threatens the livelihoods and dignity of workers, who risk their lives daily.
