Transport Minister Barbara Creecy has officially opened the billion rand Intermodal Interchange Project – including a taxi rank at Ndabakazi outside Butterworth, in the Eastern Cape.
The Ndabakazi intersection was a notorious interchange and the scene of numerous fatal crashes over the years.
Creecy says the South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) is managing a number of road projects in the Eastern Cape.
