
The state presented electronic device location pins, or pings, to the Western Cape High Court in Cape Town, in the trial of underworld figure Nafiz Modack and his co-accused Zane Killian. Prosecution is slowly moving to prove a case that the two accused had a relationship that allegedly led to the murder of top cop and anti-gang unit member, Charl Kinnear. During cross-examination, the state told the court that Killian had several code names for Modack. Modack and 14 co-accused face over a hundred charges, including murder, attempted murder, running a criminal enterprise and money laundering.
