*MPD has cautioned motorists and residents of Johannesburg to prepare for temporary road closures and intermittent traffic disruptions as multiple law enforcement agencies conduct a joint traffic operation ahead of the G20 Leaders’ Summit next weekend.

*Former South African President Thabo Mbeki emphasized the necessity of holding a national dialogue in the country. He highlighted that South Africa is currently grappling with several pressing challenges.

*Palestinian refugees have found a temporary refuge in Johannesburg after fleeing the dire conditions in Gaza.
They are among the 130 Palestinians that South Africa granted entry into the country without travel papers, after initially barring them.
